Alexandra Flores, Director

Alexandra Flores has served as Palmview Councilmember since 2020 and has been very involved in the positive development in the City of Palmview. Flores boasts 15 years of education with La Joya ISD as a teacher and counselor and is currently a GEAR UP coordinator at Palmview High School. Flores received her bachelor’s degree from Texas A&M University-Kingsville and a Master’s of Education degree in School Guidance Counseling from the University of Texas-Pan American and is currently in pursuit of completing the required coursework to obtain certification as a Licensed Professional Counselor. Her goal for serving on this board is to contribute to the city’s economic growth through facilitating educational opportunities that will make community members marketable and workforce ready, as well as engaging in partnerships with local businesses that will welcome apprenticeship programs for the community’s youth.
