For over 30 years, the Palmview Fire Department has been privileged to serve our community. What began as a volunteer department in 1987 has grown and evolved into a combination department with 33 dedicated full time and volunteer professionals serving a population of 15,830.

Our community and department are a diverse and multicultural community bordering the southern edges of the Rio Grande River. We are your neighbors, friends, and relatives 100% committed to improve the quality of life for our community by promoting safety, and providing the highest quality of fire prevention, fire protection and as of 2018 - mobile intensive care unit emergency medical services. This is an exceptional department that is proud and honored to serve our community.
