Espie Ochoa, President

Espie Ochoa is President of the Palmview Municipal Development District and has served on the PMDD Board since 2016. During her time on the board, she has also held the roles of Secretary/Treasurer and Vice President. Espie brings a strong background in public education, having served on the La Joya ISD Board of Trustees, with 13 years of experience in elementary education and 13 years in higher education.

She currently works as an Educational Advisor for a state-level higher education agency, where she supports students and institutions through academic and career planning.

As PMDD President, Espie values teamwork and collaboration with the Board and Palmview City Council. She takes pride in working on key initiatives such as the Palmview Main Street Development and remains focused on attracting new businesses, enhancing local beautification efforts, and creating job opportunities to strengthen the city’s economy.
