PALMVIEW,TX—Palmview Mayor Ricardo Villarreal and the City Council recently declared April 6-12 National Crime Victims’ Rights Week, joining cities across the nation in recognizing the efforts of those who work to make a difference.
The observance is dedicated to honoring the victims and survivors of crime, raising awareness about their rights, and acknowledging the commitment of those who work tirelessly to support them.
This year’s theme, KINSHIP, highlights the importance of shared humanity in creating an environment where survivors and victims feel understood, supported, and connected.
Mayor Villarreal encourages us all to reflect on the role we can play in strengthening these bonds and advocating for a society where every individual feels valued and supported in their journey toward healing.
