PALMVIEW, Texas- The Palmview City Council recently recognized the Palmview Passport Services Team. The team led by City Secretary Annette Barrera, received a perfect score following an inspection by the U.S. Department of State Office of Acceptance Facility Programs, Bureau of Consular Affairs – Passport Services, Office of Acceptance Oversight.
The Palmview Passport Acceptance Facility located at Palmview City Hall was one of 10 that earned a Perfect Score. Of the 10, seven are from the Rio Grande Valley and have all been in service much longer than Palmview’s which only opened in March of 2022.
The Audits are conducted to help improve the overall performance of the Passport Application Acceptance Program and it includes reviewing and assessing compliance with the current Passport Agent Reference Guide for processing applications.
